1. Legal notice

create-ebook.com is published by LDC LMT DIGITAL CREATIONS, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with a share capital of EUR 1,000. 2. Terms of sale

Article 1. Purpose. create-ebook is an AI-assisted writing service: you describe a book, approve a plan, and the service writes the chapters, composes a cover and produces PDF, EPUB and DOCX files. It is paid per book credit: one credit unlocks the download of one book. There is no subscription.

Article 2. Prices. Prices are shown inclusive of taxes. The price that applies is the one displayed at the time of purchase, in the currency offered by the payment provider for the buyer’s country. create-ebook may change its prices at any time without effect on orders already placed.

Article 3. Payment. Payment is made online through Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. create-ebook has no access to any banking details. In the iPhone app, credits are bought through the App Store: Apple handles the payment under its own terms, refunds included.

Article 4. Delivery. Credits are added to the user’s account immediately after payment confirmation. The unlocked book and its files are available in the account, with unlimited re-exports.

Article 5. Right of withdrawal. Under article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code and EU rules, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose performance began with the consumer’s express consent and waiver. By ticking the box before payment, you request immediate delivery and waive your fourteen-day right of withdrawal from the moment a credit is used. Unused credits remain refundable for fourteen days after purchase on request to contact@create-ebook.com.

Article 6. Credits and improvements. Credits are personal, non-transferable and do not expire. A credit used to unlock a book is not refundable. Unlocking freezes the book’s plan (topic, audience, angle, table of contents); only the title stays editable. Each unlocked book includes a set number of AI chapter rewrites and covers, shown in the interface; manual edits are unlimited and free. If a technical failure attributable to the service occurs, the credit is returned.

Article 7. User content. You are responsible for the idea, texts and author name you provide, and you agree not to request content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or contrary to the rules of the platforms where you publish.

Article 8. Ownership of the book. You hold all exploitation rights over the unlocked book, including for commercial purposes on any platform. create-ebook claims no rights over the books produced and does not use them for promotion without written agreement. It is your responsibility to comply with AI-assisted content disclosure obligations imposed by selling platforms (for example Amazon KDP).

Article 9. Liability. The service relies on generative models whose output is variable by nature. create-ebook does not guarantee any level of sales nor the accuracy of every piece of information produced: you review and correct your book before publishing. create-ebook’s liability is in any case limited to the amount actually paid.

Article 10. Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence. In case of dispute, and after writing to us without a satisfactory answer, you may use the consumer mediator free of charge: CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, tél. 01 89 47 00 14, cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php, litiges@cm2c.net, or the EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

3. Privacy policy

Data collected. Account: e-mail address and name from your Google or Apple account. Content: the idea you describe, the plan, the chapters, the author pages, the photos you add and the generated files. Transactions: amount, currency, date; no banking details. Origin: the country of your connection, derived from your IP address (the address itself is not kept), and the page or campaign that brought you.

Purpose and legal basis. This data is processed to perform the contract: write and deliver your book, manage your credits, issue invoices. No data is sold, or used for advertising beyond the measurement described under Cookies and trackers.

Processors. The text of your idea, the plan, the chapters and the instructions you give for a change, a cover or a picture are sent to OpenAI (United States) for the writing, the cover and the pictures; this transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Your name, your e-mail address and your photos are never sent to OpenAI, which does not use this data to train its models. Google Ireland (authentication, and notifications to the iPhone app through Firebase Cloud Messaging), Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases), RevenueCat (record of App Store purchases), Stripe (payments on the website) and Hostinger (hosting, database and files) are also involved.

Retention. Books not unlocked: 90 days after the last activity. Unlocked books: as long as the account is active. Notification address of a device: until you sign out on it or delete the account. Accounting records: ten years, as required by law.

Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection, by writing to contact@create-ebook.com; we answer within thirty days. You can delete your account from the app. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority or the French CNIL.

Cookies and trackers. The local storage needed for your session is always used, and so is our own record of where a visit came from (an ad click or an affiliate code), which stays on this site. On top of it, two advertising pixels (Meta and TikTok) and an affiliate cookie (Refindie, 60 days) are used only to attribute a visit or a sale to the campaign or the partner that brought it. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they load only if you accept them in the cookie banner; the Cookies link at the bottom of every page changes that choice at any time. None of them is needed to use the site, and none reads the content of your books. When you are signed in, the Meta pixel also receives your email address, turned on your device into an unreadable code (hashed), so that Meta can attribute a visit or a sale to its ad.

ChatGPT app. If you use create-ebook inside ChatGPT, we only receive what ChatGPT sends to the app: the book idea, its format, its language and, if any, a working title and chapter titles. Never your conversation. They are used only to pre-fill the form when you open the link, and are deleted after 30 days.

iPhone app. Before the first text of a book goes to OpenAI, the app asks for your permission; you can withdraw it at any time in Profile, and it is asked again before anything else is sent. The app keeps a notification address for your device, used only to tell you that a book is ready; notifications can be turned off in the iOS settings. It also counts how many people reach each screen of its introduction, per day and language, without knowing who. Purchases go through the App Store: Apple handles the payment and RevenueCat records it on your account, with no banking details. Deleting your account from the app also revokes Sign in with Apple.

4. Affiliate program

How it works. The programme is open to anyone and you join on our affiliate page. You get a personal link: a visitor who arrives through it is attributed to you for sixty days, last link clicked wins.

Commission. 30 % of every payment collected through your link, for as long as the customer keeps paying: on a plan, every renewal they pay earns a commission. Tracking and payouts are handled by our provider Refindie. Commissions are paid out from 50 USD accumulated. A refunded or charged-back payment earns no commission.

Not allowed. Bidding on “create-ebook” or on the domain name in ad platforms; buying through your own link; coupon and cashback sites; unsolicited messages; promising earnings or results we do not promise ourselves; presenting yourself as create-ebook or implying you speak for it.

Your content. You are free to write your own reviews and comparisons, favourable or not. You may use the name and the logo to link to the site, but not as your own.

Changes. The rate can change and the programme can close on thirty days’ notice; commissions already earned remain due. An account that breaks these rules can be closed and its pending commissions cancelled.
