1. Legal notice

create-ebook.com is published by LDC LMT DIGITAL CREATIONS, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with a share capital of EUR 1,000. 2. Terms of sale

Article 1. Purpose. create-ebook is an AI-assisted writing service: you describe a book, approve a plan, and the service writes the chapters, composes a cover and produces PDF, EPUB and DOCX files. It is paid per book credit: one credit unlocks the download of one book. There is no subscription.

Article 2. Prices. Prices are shown inclusive of taxes. The price that applies is the one displayed at the time of purchase, in the currency offered by the payment provider for the buyer’s country. create-ebook may change its prices at any time without effect on orders already placed.

Article 3. Payment. Payment is made online through Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. create-ebook has no access to any banking details.

Article 4. Delivery. Credits are added to the user’s account immediately after payment confirmation. The unlocked book and its files are available in the account, with unlimited re-exports.

Article 5. Right of withdrawal. Under article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code and EU rules, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose performance began with the consumer’s express consent and waiver. By ticking the box before payment, you request immediate delivery and waive your fourteen-day right of withdrawal from the moment a credit is used. Unused credits remain refundable for fourteen days after purchase on request to contact@create-ebook.com.

Article 6. Credits and improvements. Credits are personal, non-transferable and do not expire. A credit used to unlock a book is not refundable. Unlocking freezes the book’s plan (topic, audience, angle, table of contents); only the title stays editable. Each unlocked book includes a set number of AI chapter rewrites and covers, shown in the interface; manual edits are unlimited and free. If a technical failure attributable to the service occurs, the credit is returned.

Article 7. User content. You are responsible for the idea, texts and author name you provide, and you agree not to request content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or contrary to the rules of the platforms where you publish.

Article 8. Ownership of the book. You hold all exploitation rights over the unlocked book, including for commercial purposes on any platform. create-ebook claims no rights over the books produced and does not use them for promotion without written agreement. It is your responsibility to comply with AI-assisted content disclosure obligations imposed by selling platforms (for example Amazon KDP).

Article 9. Liability. The service relies on generative models whose output is variable by nature. create-ebook does not guarantee any level of sales nor the accuracy of every piece of information produced: you review and correct your book before publishing. create-ebook’s liability is in any case limited to the amount actually paid.

Article 10. Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence. In case of dispute, and after writing to us without a satisfactory answer, you may use the consumer mediator free of charge: CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, tél. 01 89 47 00 14, cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php, litiges@cm2c.net, or the EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

3. Privacy policy

Data collected. Account: e-mail address and name from your Google account. Content: the idea you describe, the plan, the chapters, the author pages and the generated files. Transactions: amount, currency, date; no banking details.

Purpose and legal basis. This data is processed to perform the contract: write and deliver your book, manage your credits, issue invoices. No data is sold or used for advertising.

Processors. The text of your idea, the plan and the chapters are sent to OpenAI (United States) for writing and cover generation; this transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Google Ireland (authentication), Stripe (payments) and Hostinger (hosting, database and files) are also involved.

Retention. Books not unlocked: 90 days after the last activity. Unlocked books: as long as the account is active. Accounting records: ten years, as required by law.

Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection, by writing to contact@create-ebook.com; we answer within thirty days. You can delete your account from the app. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority or the French CNIL.

Cookies. The site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Only the local storage needed to keep your session.
